The 97th. Signal Battalion Association was established and incorporated in the state of Arizona on May 31, 1989, as a non-profit organization. The objectives of this association are to create a fraternal order of persons who have served with the 97th Signal Battalion in order to perpetuate the bonds of comradeship, loyalty and devotion to country that was demonstrated in war and in peace since the unit’s activation April 10, 1942 at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
National Reunions are held annually, usually in the first or second week of May. Reunion information appears in the association newsletter “THE COMMUNICATOR” which is published in February, June and October.
This site is dedicated
to all members of the 97th Signal Battalion (Operation) past, who have served and fought to preserve the ideals and aspirations of our Great Nation and the Free World.
