97th Signal Battalion Association
The 97th Signal Battalion Association was established in May 1989 as a Non-Profit Organization and is Incorporated as such in the state of Arizona. The Association was basically formed to create a fraternal order of persons that have served with the 97th Signal Battalion in order to perpetuate the bounds of comradeship, loyalty and devotion to country that was demonstrated in war and peace since the Units activation on 10 April 1942 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.. We meet annually at reunions held in various locations throughout the United States. We try to alternate these sites like East Coast, Mid-West and West. Our Reunion tabs shows the locations of all of our Past reunions. The majority of the original members that formed the Association were from the 1942 - 1957 era of service. We currently have over 350 Active and Associate members. |
